Culture Clothing: Standing Out In Style
Culture clothing has been one of the strongest and most bold fashion styles ever worn by man. Despite being simple in form, it evokes a strong spiritual and deep meaning in every print and design that is featured in every form.
Culture clothing can be as simple as a shirt but the print, usually depicting an ornament or a graphic that has a very cultural appeal. The designs are anywhere from east to west. In western countries, specially in America, culture clothing is focused on its counterpart which is the eastern culture.
Famous designs are those of the religions of Buddhism and Hinduism. The trend is a simple print of something that is related or would symbolize the specific culture. Images of Buddha with rays around it screen printed over a plain tee, or the sign of Hinduism is enough to suggest that very powerful energy. Each print or design seems like a visual connection to that high level of spirituality and psychic ability.
Tribal designs are popular among teens. The designs are also perfect for those who love abstract art. Wearing shirts with these prints make the person look and feel exotic and one of a kind. Besides the plain shirts, you can also find those with embellishments of stones and other ethnic trinkets such as metals and small bells.
For alternative clothing styles, try using scarves. Lately, scarves that are woven, knit or printed cotton are fashionable. Scarves are also ideal for transitioning from day to night when the air sometimes get a little bit too chilly for just a shirt, but too warm to wear a jacket or a sweater.
Hip hop clothing sometimes do combine with culture clothes. The shirts with culture prints become an innerwear when you wear a hoody or a cardigan. The proper mix and match and little play of colors bring out a hip style. Hip hop and culture designs form an interesting mélange of chill and savvy appeal. No wonder that this style is growing popularity among the young.
When it’s hard to find such culture clothing styles, the internet and online shopping might just have what you need. With just a few clicks, you are on your way to discovering these different fashion trends. There really isn’t any excuse why you shouldn’t try a little bit of a makeover.

Trying to make the jump from teen to adult (clothes/style)?
A few days ago, I was told by a co-worker that I needed to start dressing my age (and job) and not like a teenager. (I work for a upscale graphic design compay as a low level designer.) I shrugged of his comment at first, but after further thought I think he may be right. Right now I dress in A&F, HCO, and some AE. Mostly jeans, tshirts, and a hoodie or light v-neck sweater if the weather isn't too cold. I guess thats sort-of mainstream highschool right there. I'm not sure since thats what I've worn all my life. I tried looking into other stores, ie Express, Banana Republic, J. Crew, but can't seem to make the jump from teen to adult. Anyone have any advice on how to change things up? Which stores to buy from? I don't want to look too adult-ish (hell, I'm still 21!), but I don't want to look like some kid either. Maybe I just need a new haircut... Anyways thanks in advance for any feedback.
I'm 22 and still wear all of the same stuff, but in moderation. Try Target for some cheap, nice khakis (no cargos, no fades, no rips). On days you want to wear jeans and a tee to work, swap the jeans for khakis and put a button down over the tee for a more grown up look. Sweaters are great, but use them instead of hoodies in more professional settings. Avoid clothes with logos plastered all over them. An eagle or a moose is ok only once per outfit, but if it's printed all over the outfits a no-go for work. The great thing about AE, A&F, etc., is that you can find a lot of great basics there, it's just about finding ways to make them look more grown up by swapping in more tailored pieces. While the "nicer" stores you mentioned are great, they're definitely pricier. Old Navy, Steve & Barry's, Target, and even TJ Maxx or Marshalls carry great clothes at even better prices.
